csXPostUpload

This ActiveX / OCX control allows an end user to upload batches of files to a server by an HTTP post. The entire contents of a folder can be uploaded with a single click. Paths, destinations and form variables can be set by the developer or the end user. Files can be filtered by extension and / or size. This control can be used in a web page or a COM enabled environment. It allows a more useful interface to be built than a web form with a Browse button when a user is regularly uploading multiple files to the same location. It shows a progress bar, has an abort and continue facility and stores settings in an inifile to avoid making the user enter paths every time. The control can also be hidden or reduced to just a progress bar and operated from the calling application where files for upload can be specified by name. csASPGif

ASP Component / COM object to create, edit and manipulate multi-frame animated GIFs. Read GIFs from disk, data stream or remote URL, save to disk or export to the browser. Comprehensive functions allow for setting frame properties such as delay and dispose method, copying and reordering frames and manipulating the colour tables. csXImage

This ActiveX / OCX control displays, resizes, edits and joins images. It supports JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, PCX, PSD, TIFF and WBMP files and can convert between them. You can create thumbnails and change JPG compression quality to reduce the size required for storage. Add text labels, draw lines and shapes with optional colour fills or antialiasing. Crop, Rotate, Flip and FloodFill commands available. Images can be joined by pasting one on top of another with optional full or partial transparency of the foreground image. Adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness and colour depth. Adjustments can be made to the whole image or just a selected area. Import and export data from file, as a binary stream from a database, from a remote server or using the clipboard. Images can be uploaded to a web server. Read and edit jpeg meta data (IPTC text). csFileDownload

This ASP component enables file downloads to be controlled from within a script. This allows code to be executed before and after downloading, which means password protection of individual files can be implemented easily. Records can be updated accurately because it is possible to detect if the download was completed or cancelled part-way through. A built in access code generator is provided to produce access codes "on the fly", which can be verified before allowing a download. Some file utilities are also included, such as Copy, Rename, Delete, and a single command to append a line to a text file. There is a free trial available complete with full instructions.

csASPZipFile

This ASP component creates zip files on the fly on the server. The resulting zip archives can either be saved on the server or streamed to the browser. Zip files can be split to form spanned archives to allow smaller files to be downloaded. The component also allows the control of binary file downloads. Some file utility functions are included as well as an access code generator. An HTTP function allows files to be retrieved from a remote web server and either saved or streamed. csIniFile

With this component you can read, write and create Windows style INI files from an ASP script. Data types include strings, integers, reals, dates and booleans. You can loop through a file's sections or keys using collections. New INI files can be created "on the fly". Some file utilities are also included.
