StartPro allows users to add and remove programs located in the Registry, Startup folder, and win.ini file that load during start-up. Features include SmartBin, which saves deleted items for future restoration, and Boot Options, which allows the user to modify settings located in the msdos.sys file. StartPro also includes support for drag-and-drop and clipboard functions. This version includes added protection against overwriting the msdos.sys file with a malformed msdos.sys, updated menus to properly change after selecting the SmartBin, the addition of contextual menus to SmartBin items, miscellaneous bug fixes, the correction of a major bug that caused StartPro to lock up when used in Windows 2000, and the correction of a bug that prevented StartPro from retaining its window size and position.
