Secure Fonts

Are you printing checks from Windows? Do you ever worry about people altering the name or the amount on your checks? Or do you just want a more professional look for your checks? When printing checks, you need a secure way to print the amount and the name of the person the check is payable to. This package includes 26 different Secure Fonts. These fonts let you print check amounts in dollars, pounds sterling, euros, or the yen that are very hard to alter. Four of these fonts support most Western European languages. Each font comes standard version and in a version with the word for each number printed below it. They will also let you print the payee name on the check using our Secure Name option. Note that these are not the same Secure Fonts that come with the MICR font set. This set includes 14 new Secure Fonts not found in the MICR set.

Want to print bar code 3/9 directly from Windows? Bar code 3/9 is the most popular alpha-numeric bar code. It will encode upper case letters, numbers, and some punctuation. MICR Font Set

Want to print your own checks on your laser printer from Windows? The bottom sequence of numbers on a check must be printed in a special font called MICR or E-13B. This font includes the numbers 0 through 9 and four special characters: On-Us, Transit, Amount, and Dash. MICR printing can be done on any laser printer, provided you purchase a special magnetic toner cartridges for it. Note that MICR printing must be exceedingly accurate. This package includes a number of variations of the MICR font (E-13B), plus instructions and calibration routines to ensure the checks you print will work at your bank. This is the only MICR font set you will find that comes with an automatic calibration program! All fonts are designed to meet ANSI standard X9.27-1995. When printing checks, you also need a way to print the amount on checks in a secure fashion. This package also includes six different Secure Number fonts. They let you print check amounts in dollars, pounds sterling, euros, or the yen that are very hard to alter. Note: Optio software users need our LaserJet version., not the TrueType version.

UPC Bar Codes

The Universal Product Code has been used in the North American retail industry since 1973. There are two different versions of UPC bar codes, UPC-A and UPC-E. The UPC-A bar code is 12 digits long, including its checksum. UPC-E bar codes are special shortened versions of UPC-A bar codes and are 6 digits long. Both UPC-A and UPC-E bar codes may have optional 2 or 5 digit supplemental codes appended to them. Our scalable TrueType bar code fonts comes in five different aspect ratios, so you can vary the height and width of the bars independent of each other. This lets you print bar codes with the same height, but different horizontal print densities. The online manual comes in Rich Text format. Just print a copy of the manual to see how to use these soft fonts to print bar codes. UPC bar codes encode fixed length numeric data. A checksum is required, and checksum calculation is complex. VBA functions for Access, Excel, and Word make using our fonts in those programs a breeze. Our bar code set includes BARUPC.EXE a utility, which builds bar code strings and generates checksums for you.
