SpaceTheremin

This audio software is a virtual mouse-controlled theremin. Unlike a standard analog theremin, which typically has a sinewave oscillator and some basic vibrato, SpaceTheremin lets you choose from six different oscillator types (sine, square, triangle, sinc, saw, and pulse). The same waveforms can also be used for vibrato and modulation. It uses OpenAL for sound generation. SpaceTheremin is licensed as freeware and filed in audio, multimedia music composers section.

Wave Corrector Professional

A true WYSIWYG waveform corrector which automatically removes clicks and hiss from vinyl and tape/cassette recordings and divides album files into separate CD track files. Individual click corrections can be auditioned and edited. A graphical display overlays the corrected and uncorrected waveforms to allow easy comparison.

Harmonix

With the Harmonix PhotoShop plug-in you can create complex waveforms. The waveforms generated by Harmonix are created by mixing (or superimposing for the more technically-minded) harmonic frequencies. All features of the waveforms are automatically scaled to fit the image (or selection of course) so you will not have to reconfigure an entire wave should you decide to change the image size.

RAL / Realtime Analyzer Light

Quality sound measurement software equivalent to at least US$10,000 hardware. The software license of RAL costs just US$24, but RAL is more functional than the usual FFT analyzer. General realtime measurement function is entirely included. It has the signal generator, Peak level meter, Power spectrum, 1/3 octave analysis, 3D graph (TEF), and Oscilloscope.
