XLang10
Xlang10 is a script interpreter encapsulated in an ActiveX control. Xlang10 is capable of expression evaluation, conditional logic, file and directory functions, and looping. However the real power is in the ability to add custom functions through method calls. When a custom function is encountered in a script an event is triggered, telling you which function was used and makes the parameters to the function available for retrieval and handling in your code. When you set the return value of your function, script execution resumes. There are events that allow a trace debugger to be built, variables to be examined or modified or other programmer actions to be taken. This is a complete scripting engine that is easy to use and has a powerful base scripting language. Help files in RTF and other formats are provided, documenting the base scripting language. You can simply add help for your application's extensions and you have a documented, built-in scripting language for your application. XLang10 license is demo and it is listed in activex,scripting software.

ASHE - A Scripted Hex Editor
ASHE - A Scripted Hex Editor is a hex editor with a built-in scripting language. Through the user interface you can view basic data types in hex, binary or decimal. From an 8 byte viewport, data is sliced into 8 single characters, four 16 bit integers (signed and unsigned are displayed), two 32 bit integers (signed and unsigned), two single precision floats and one double precision float. All the types are displayed, on separate tabs, as decimal, binary and hex, and can be edited in the same base as the display. ASHE is capable of editing very large files, our largest test file was over 250 MB. There are advanced search functions allowing you to quickly find differences between current and prior search results. Searches can be performed for strings or any of the integer types available and search values can be entered in decimal or hex. Through the scripting engine, you can insert and delete blocks from files, resize (up or down) files, alter the values in files, get user input and use conditional logic to respond, perform searches and iterate through the results; In short, a solid file manipulation language is provided. A separate (free) script run time application is available on our web site for people who do not wish to register ASHE.
