Icon Master
It can create icons from any paint program you have. Istead of using primitive icon editors that are usually not better then windows paint, now you can draw icons in any drawing and painting program. Simply save your work, add the saved file to the list (see the picture), hit GO, and there you have the 24-bit icons. It supports bmp, dib, wmf, emf, gif, jpg and of course ico and cur formats. No more expensive software for creating icons, now you can create icons from any image file. You can add as many files as you want, the program will simply detect if it is 32x32, 16x16 or 48x48 size, it will select 24-bit color range (the best), and take the top left pixel for transparent color, it will do all that for each picture. Of course, you can change that options by yourself if you want. There is also a support for multipage icons, you can create an icon with small, medium, and large modes, simply select an image for each of these modes.
This program is made for Windows XP/2000/ME, if you have older systems then see readme file for troubleshooting (if there are problems). Now you can set your own icons for windows, draw them in any program, or draw icons for your program or a website.
