This is a program for hiding a data file in a single BMP image or in a set of BMP images and for extracting a data file hidden in this way. Uses a stego key for encryption and randomization of bit-insertion. The file may be of any kind, not just a text file, and thus may be a file such as an Excel spreadsheet or an image file. Furthermore the file may be of any size, as long as there are sufficient BMP images files in it to hold the data.

Lunar Calendars and Eclipse Finder

Hermetic Word Frequency Counter

This software scans a file, or text on the clipboard, and counts the number of occurrences of the different words. The words which are found and displayed can be ordered alphabetically or by frequency. The program can be told to allow or disallow words with numerals, hyphens, apostrophes, underscores or colons, to ignore words which are short or which occur infrequently, and to ignore words (e.g., common words) contained in a specified file. This software may be used with text in languages other than English, in particular, with French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese text. It can be used with XML files and with files containing program source code, e.g. C++. Results can be written to an output file, optionally comma-delimited.

Hermetic File Search - Index Module

Hermetic File Search is for indexing and searching HTML files, text files or files of a similar kind (such as XML files) in a hierarchy of files either on CD, a hard disk or some similar storage medium (not files on an online website). This software does not simply create a list of files or simply search for character strings in a file. It indexes every word in every file, and any file containing a particular set of words (or any of those words, or an exact phrase) can be found by searching for those words. Hermetic File Search consists of two modules: 1. An index module which is used to create an index of the searchable files. 2. A search module which is used to search those files. The index module is capable of indexing a hierarchy of over 1000 HTML files, totalling over 50 MB, and containing over 100,000 different words. Even with that number of different words the search module returns results in a few seconds. The results are displayed by the software and can also be displayed in a page in your default web browser, with links to the files containing the words searched for.

Cryptosystem ME6

Cryptosystem ME6 is Windows software intended for encryption and decryption of single files or multiple files (optionally also in subfolders) on PCs, for secure storage or secure transmission. It uses a 500-bit key for security, and has features designed to minimize the chances of user error. Cryptosystem ME6 was designed and developed in Europe. Thus it was not designed (as most U.S.-developed encryption software is) to be sufficiently weak to qualify for a U.S. export license. You are not allowed to download it if you are in the US.

Easy Date Converter

Easy Date Converter is a program to perform arithmetical operations with Gregorian, Julian and Annus Novus dates and Julian day numbers. (It is a trilingual English/German/Spanish program.) Suppose a meeting is scheduled for exactly ten weeks (70 days) from Christmas Day 2003. What date will that be? (Don't forget that February 2004 has 29 days.) If you find this sort of calculation a tad difficult this program will make it easy. Easy Date Converter provides three calendrical operations: 1. Calculation of the number of days between two dates. 2. Addition or subtraction of a number of days to or from a date. 3. Interconversion among Gregorian (a.k.a.
