Multicom

Multicom is appointed for emulation of one, two or more (up to 200) serial streams. Hardware devices are not necessary. This product is based on Windows XP DDK and doesn't require using devices of other manufacturers. The whole product is created with the help of Microsoft tooling. Multicom realizes full emulation of Serial Port functions, connected with each other with the help of NULL-MODEM or full cable, including DTR, CTS, DSR, RTS. Multicomr can be interesting for software (for Windows Platforms) developers, who use external devices connected with computer by serial port. Also, it will be interesting for developers of the products appointed for connection of two or more computers through serial ports.

While the operation of different facilities, which are connected to a computer via serial port, there may appear the necessity to start up utility program (for these facilities) not in the machine, to which the facilities connect directly, but in the remote machine, that is connected to the facility server via the network Multicom.Net. Multicom.Net server is a service which realizes the exchange between a real driver of the serial port and TCP/IP. Multicom. client and server handle two flows: outcoming and incoming. The client takes the bytes that were transferred to all the virtual ports earlier and then transfers them to the server, which was started up on the other computer. Also the client receives flows from the server and gives the bytes to Multicom.Net. With Multicom.net -Optimize network data flow between computer & data terminal. -Split serial output between different clients. -Provide additional control through serial stream.

Multicom OEM

Multicom OEM is a programming interface, which allows you to add support of virtual serial ports to your own application. You have full control over ports created with the help of Multicom OEM, including reading data that some other application has written using WriteFile function, writing data to be read with ReadFile function, flow control signals monitoring and controlling. If you have the software, which works with some device connected to COM port and you want to capture all the data that goes to and from the port, then Multicom OEM is what you need!
