Isg WaveSqueezer
Isg WaveSqueezer is a graphical user interface (front end) to operate nearly any WAV-to-MP3-converter that is normally operated from a command line. As it is delivered, Isg WaveSqueezer includes such a converter: LAME. With this, Isg WaveSqueezer is ready-to-go, but yet it can also be used with nearly any other command line operated WAV-to-MP3 encoder you may possess. The aim of Isg WaveSqueezer is to make usage of a command line converter much more comfortable: You first collect the WAV-files to convert in Isg WaveSqueezer (either by choosing them with a File Open Dialog or by dragging them into the list directly from Windows Explorer or other file manager software. Then you specify a target directory on your harddrive where to write the MP3 files into. Isg WaveSqueezer remembers the 10 last used target directories for later reuse. Then you may modify some conversion options (normally not necessary) and just press "start conversion", and WaveSqueezer will operate the command line converter all automatically. Of course there are many encoders available that don''t operate on a command line and thus don''t need such an front end, but these are usually commercial software you have to pay for. Converters like LAME are free, and such is Isg WaveSqueezer. A MP3 encoding solution you don''t have to pay for Yet there exist many other front ends for LAME and other encoders. What makes Isg WaveSqueezer special among these is, that it is completely independent of a specific encoder: It may be used with nearly any converter operated via command line! The Converter Script System of Isg WaveSqueezer enables you to create your own list of available conversion options and to use even several different encoders: Before starting a conversion simply select the script to use, this determines the encoder to use and the encoding options! You may delete scripts you don''t need and add new ones, so you can adapt Isg WaveSqueezer to your needs.

Isg Movie-CD Menu
This package supplies two different looking menu programs which are meant to easily create a menu for a self-burnt CD-Rom with a movie on it. Both menus support 4 commands: "Play Movie", "Install Software" (in case you want to supply codec and/or player software on the same CD), "Bonus Material" (in case you want to supply additional data with the movie, like for example critics, summary, slide shows, ...) and "Info", displaying a short text which may describe system requirements or properties of the film. The caption on the buttons for the first three commands may be edited (like this the menu may especially appear in any language). The look and behaviour of the menu are configured by writing / editing an ini file which joins the menu program. A template ini file, example ini files and a detailed reference to the available options are included.

Isg WinCommand
Advanced Windows Command Line. The idea of Isg WinCommand was to combine the possibilities of a command prompt (DOS prompt) with the main possibilities of a file manager like changing directories or launching programs by mouseclick! Isg WinCommand addresses all Windows users who know the main DOS commands and like to use a command line but also always see the disadvantages of pure command lines like the DOS box supplied by Windows, for example directory names have to be fully entered to change directories with a CD command. It would be much more comfortable to also habe the possibility of changing into the directory by mouse and then to work on with typed commands. That is one enhancement that Isg WinCommand provides. One disadvantage of command windows like the standard DOS-Box of Windows is, that you just see a limited page and are not able to scroll, for example a filelist generated by the DIR command. That forced you to use parameters like /W or /P after the DIR command or to use the " | more" extension. In Isg WinCommand the results of the DIR-command are shown in the File Listbox on the right. You can scroll up and down and select a file to launch or to paste it''s name into the command line (using the "#"-key). Yet Isg WinCommand ist not meant to replace a file manager, but it''s an extension of your possibilites. Isg WinCommand doesn''t support many file manager''s features like file icons, multi-select etc., but you can always open a Windows Explorer Window of the current directory by clicking on the "Explore" SpeedButton. With the "Explorer"-SpeedButton you can launch Windows Explorer in it''s "tree version". And since version 1.1 even drag&drop between Isg WinCommand and other Windows applications (esp. the Explorer) is supported.
