Execute everything, from programs, to text files, to multimedia, in fact everything that has a registered extension, directly from your desktop. It will open a win95 Open Dialog, from where you can chose the file to run, and then close itself. Has a - somewhat limited - filter possibility, that I can easily extend with more file types, if you want..

Pic Viewer

Small viewer program that lets you view almost all graphic files you have on your disk. You can also view all of the picture (zoom out) if you double click on picture. Can receive command line arguments like "viewer.exe {path}/something.jpg". The graphic files supported are JPG, JIF, GIF, BMP, DIB, RLE, TGA, PCX, WMF, using external 32 bit library ''NviewLib.dll'' by K. Nishita - also supplied within the zip archive. Many thanks to Kazuhiro Nishita for writing the excellent NViewLib.dll.

Watch_sk

Very small ''dragable'' timer watch. To set the alarm, double click on ''body'' of watch. To move, drag it''s window arround with mouse. Config program to set skins, fonts, etc. You can create your own simple skins for it.

File Renamer

This program will let you rename all your files like with the DOS command, but with a lot more options. You can batch rename all files, add string to beginning or end of filenames, remove string from all the names to rename, change all the file extensions, numerate all filenames sequentially, convert all to uppercase / lowercase, trim 'x' characters from beginning or end of filenames, replace spaces inside filename to underscore or eliminate all spaces, replace one string from the name with any other, and some more... Can work with one or multiple directories, remove or add individual items from file list. Select multiple files from Open dialog box. Suports Drag and Drop from Explorer. Also has 'undo' function for last rename done.. Remembers last renaming strings, and new file extensions can be added to be used next time. Accepts command line filenames and a link in the 'Send To' windows directory can be defined so that you can right click on Explorer and directly send the selected files to be renamed to the program.

Date Reminder

Don't ever forget an important date again! Create a list of all your important dates - anniversaries, things to do, events, memories, etc. - and this little program will remind you whenever that date comes. When it is run, it will pop a reminder with all events that occur on the present day. You can sort all events alphabetically, and order all the dates, by clicking on the header of each column or seting the preferences. Takes very little space on your desktop, and minimizes to the tray. Can also startup automatically when windows starts, to help you remember.
