IEToggle
IEToggle lets you set a hotkey or click an icon in the System Tray to either open, or immediately locate and pop to the forefront, open page(s) of a specified web site/application running in Internet Explorer. You can toggle between all open Internet Explorer browser instances containing pages of your chosen web site/application, by repeatedly pressing the hotkey or clicking on the dedicated icon in the System Tray. You can have multiple IEToggle instances running at once - ie multiple dedicated icons in the System Tray and/or hotkeys, each for a different web site/application. For your convenience, IEToggle comes packaged with a Multi-Instance Creator, which allows you to specify how many IEToggle instances you''d like to set up, and the application then goes and creates them, placing shortcuts to each instance under Start>Programs. IEToggle was originally requested by a large Australian telecommunications company - where it is employed by Front Of House staff who use a variety of web-based applications through the day. IEToggle has been shown to improve productivity in such Contact Centre environments, but is equally valuable for anyone who welcomes the use of shortcuts, and easier ways of navigating about their applications.

DataRelate
DataRelate is a data storage, data rate, network address and base conversion utility. Whether you are a layperson or a technical specialist, if you have anything to do with PCs and networks, you''ll find DataRelate to be of value. The Data Storage panel makes it easy to correlate groupings of bits and data storage units. You can also see how the capacities of popular storage media compare - eg. the wide range of floppy disks, CDs and DVDs, and ZIP, Jaz and Orb disks in use throughout the world. The Data Transfer panel features transfer rates of channels ranging from the micro level (hard disks and peripherals) through to the macro level (LAN, WAN and Internet). eg. you can very easily compare the transfer rate of a top-speed T3 line, with say a T1 line, a DSL line, an ISDN line and an ordinary telephone line. Or, you can see how the throughputs of all the varieties of Broadband transmission out there stack up against each other. DataRelate provides definitions and explanations of every term and unit. The Base Convert panel performs conversions as you type, between Decimal, Hexadecimal and Binary numbers (upto 64 bits in length). It also includes bit shifting, rotation and inversion buttons. A color dialog enables you to pick any color and have its value shown in Decimal, Hexadecimal and Binary. The Token Ring/Ethernet Convert panel is useful for network integrators who have a need to bridge between dissimilar LANs - eg. Ethernet and Token Ring, or Ethernet and FDDI. This panel is also a handy troubleshooting aid when dealing with certain Ethernet cards which have one address typed on the adapter, while another is actually used on the wire. DataRelate lets you choose which conversions to save, and when you''re done, pressing ''Make File'' results in a textfile in CSV format of your chosen conversions being produced (which you can import into say, a spreadsheet).

AppTrak
AppTrak is a powerful application monitoring utility which sits in the system tray, and monitors and reports on application set up and application use. It periodically polls what is happening on the desktop and writes the raw monitored data to a DB deployed with the application. At the end of each monitoring period, the data is automatically queried, the results are appended into Textfile Reports on the monitored PC, the DB is refreshed and the Textfile Reports are emailed to a nominated mailbox (if this option is selected), for easy charting and analysis. AppTrak provides the following information: a) an inventory of all applications installed on the monitored desktop b) which applications automatically start on Windows startup c) which Services are running, categorized according to manual-run and auto-run d) which applications are opened and closed, and which processes are started and stopped over the monitoring period e) how many instances of each application is run f) how the applications are used, when, and for how long, during the monitoring period. Its great for Contact Centres or Organizations looking to optimize the workflow of staff who use CRM/ERP applications, since AppTrak reveals whether agents are using the provided applications in the correct way, and at the correct time. Its great as an aid in establishing root cause of poor application performance and responsiveness - AppTrak reveals what the staff member/agent was doing when, for example, excessive or anomalous desktop resource utilization was recorded. Its great for IT License Management - AppTrak provides an accurate picture of which applications staff/agents are actually using to do their work, and which lie dormant. Its great for PC Use Surveillance - If anyone does anything on your desktop while you''re not there, AppTrak will capture it, and advise you what occurred. And its a good deterrent for children or students to using the PC in unauthorized ways eg - visiting certain websites.

SoundCopy
SoundCopy is a handy Windows sound recording utility, allowing you to record, save, playback and compress to mp3, any voice, music or other sound. Recording time is limited only by the amount of hard disk space available. SoundCopy can receive input from CD, the Internet (audio files youve downloaded or streaming audio), microphone, cassette player or any other line-in source. You can use SoundCopy for recording meetings, conversations and dictation. You can use it to make digital back-ups of your audio tapes. You can set it to automatically record a radio program when youre not there - the possibilities are endless. SoundCopy was created upon the lament of a visitor to Measurement And Conversion Software, who said that he could not find a free audio recorder with an in-built scheduler and mp3 compression capability. He said he was happy to do away with options for selecting different sample sizes and sampling frequencies, as long as the resulting recordings represented a good compromise between sound quality and file size, and the recorder had the basic auto-record and sound compression features he was after. After receiving this request, the author of SoundCopy performed his own web search for such a program, but uncovered nothing - confirming the visitors frustration - and he also found the visitor was not the only one with these requirements. So he set about creating an application to fill the gap, and Measurement And Conversion Software is now proud to announce SoundCopy - a free, handsome, no-nonsense and easy-to-use audio recorder with the ability to record on demand or to a schedule, and convert recorded WAV files to mp3. Enjoy.

TimeAfterTime
TimeAfterTime is a powerful Multi-Timer application. You can launch upto 6 independent, simultaneous Timers - any combination of count up duration (once or recurring), count down duration (once or recurring), count to a time of day, or count as stopwatch. You can assign separate announcement WAV files to each Timer - files you have created yourself or obtained, or, you can select from the announcements and sound effects that come with the application (via a drop-down list). Special algorithms ensure announcements do not cut each other off or overlap. You can test-listen to WAV files from within the application, before assigning them. Each Timer you launch is clearly marked with what type of timer it is, the count display is bold and prominent, and it carries all the reference information youd be interested in - the name of the WAV file that will be played, whether the Timer is of recurring type or not (and if it is, how many cycles have already been completed), when the Timer was set, the duration the Timer is counting, what the current time is, etc. Each Timer''s text message flashes red-blue when it triggers, to get your attention. You can audibly distinguish a once-off Timer from a recurring one, by the number of times the announcement is repeated (3 times in the former case, once in the latter). You can at any stage Hide/Show all timers. You can Enable/Disable pop-up of Timers above all other windows, when they trigger. You allocate each Timers title and message text (to flash) at the Main Control Panel before the Timer launches, but you can alter them from the Timers own panel, after the Timer launches. TimeAfterTime is suitable for a wide range of timing activities. eg. when used for cooking, TimeAfterTime is just like having a chefs assistant sitting there with a notepad and a handful of stopwatches and clocks announcing -Check rice!-, -Vegetables are ready!- (with two differences...TimeAfterTime costs you nothing and is ready to work whenever you are).

SayOClock
A Talking Digital Clock which speaks ''on demand'', or according to a schedule (at specific time intervals, between the times of day you select), using either pre-recorded ''Real Speech'' or Text To Speech (TTS). It informs you how many TTS engines you have installed in your system, and the name of the TTS voice that shall be speaking. You can swiftly change from one voice to another, as well as the application''s mode of operation (''Announce Time'' or ''Alarm'' mode). Whenever SayO''Clock speaks (whether it is using ''Real Speech'' or TTS to do so), a green indicator light on the face plate lights up - a useful visual alert. In ''Announce mode'', the time interval is conveniently set by means of a slider on SayO''Clock''s face plate, which is adjustable between 0 and 60. eg. an interval of ''1'' means that SayO''Clock will say the time every minute in the hour. An interval of ''20'' means SayO''Clock will say the time on the hour, 20 past the hour and 40 minutes past the hour. You can also press the ''Speak'' button at any time, and SayO''Clock will say the time at that moment. Other choices available in ''Announce'' mode are: whether to say the time using ''Real Speech'' or TTS, whether or not SayO''Clock should automatically announce the time when it starts up, and whether or not scheduled time announcements should be preceded with ''warning beeps''. SayO''Clock''s ''Alarm mode'' is indicated by a little hourglass image in the Display. In this mode, as soon as you choose a time interval and release the slider - the alarm is armed from that moment to trip every time the interval elapses. eg. if you choose ''1'' as the time interval, the alarm will trigger 1 minute after you release the slider, and again 1 minute after that and so on - in a recurring fashion. Also, (just like in ''Announce mode''), you can press the ''Speak'' button at any time, and SayO''Clock will say the time at that moment, and you can choose whether or not the alarm alerts should be preceded with ''warning beeps''.

WinThermO
WinThermO is a graphical, interactive, temperature conversion and display utilility. The User Interface is in the form of an attractive clipboard-mounted thermometer. When you perform a temperature conversion - from Fahrenheit to Celcius or vice versa, the scale of WinThermO''s thermometer automatically adjusts to the range within which the values fall, and the mercury jumps to the level of the result. WinThermO also features an extensive list of Useful Temperatures arranged in categories such as Atmosphere, Earth, Human Body, Metal melting points, Stove/oven levels etc. You simply select a category, click on a topic and WinThermO''s thermometer scale adjusts to what needs to be shown, and the mercury rises or falls to the result. This is a great feature for both reference and educational purposes - the graphical depiction of the various temperatures provides context, makes comparisons easy and aids retention. Best of all, this feature is native to the application - it does not require the installation of bulky database components or capabilities.
