Mini-Input

Mini-Input is a .NET component to monitor, send and suppress keyboard and mouse input. * Mini-Input enables you to monitor, suppress and send (Pro edition) keyboard and mouse input in one convenient .NET component. * A single Mini-Input hook can monitor for all keyboard and mouse events on a global, application form, and/or control level. Or you can create individual hooks for different input types and levels. * The same arguments are generated for every keyboard or mouse event across all levels. You can subscribe to a single event to catch all keyboard events, or subscribe to separate KeyDown, KeyPress and KeyUp events. The same is true for mouse events. * Optionally reuse events to significantly reduce the number of heap allocations and garbage collections and hence improve performance when monitoring for many events. * Includes a text control that monitors and displays keyboard hotkeys. * Monitor for input in the same or different thread as your application. * Suppress select keyboard and mouse events to intercept the events and provide your own response. * Send keyboard and mouse input events synchronously or asynchronously to any open window. * Send window commands (such as move, close, resize and minimize) to any open window. * Get a list of all open windows and a hierarchy of child windows. Get properties for each window such as name, class and size. * Mini-Input includes a fully-customizable macro language simple enough for many users to send input and commands to open windows. Includes keyboard and mouse input, window commands, delays and more. Extend the language to support your own custom commands. * Determine if any key or mouse button is currently pressed down, including the CapsLock and NumLock keys. * Customize the text shown for input events (such as "Ctrl+C") to your preferences or language.

Mini-XMenus

Mini-XMenus is a .NET component that adds custom menu items to the Windows Explorer context menu (the popup menu that appears when the user right-clicks on items in Windows Explorer). * Each menu item can have its own icon or image. * You can specify the font, size, text and background colors for each menu item, or use the Explorer defaults. * Full OwnerDraw support enables you to draw right in the Explorer context menu. * Menu items can have sub-items, which can have sub-items, and so on. * Each custom menu item may appear based on the items currently selected in Windows Explorer. For example, a menu item may appear only for images, folders or drives, or any combination. You can specify one or more file extensions for which an item will appear, or have a menu item appear for all files. * Menu items can appear in the Explorer "background" menu, shown when the user right-clicks in a folder in Explorer but not on any items. * When clicked, a menu item can execute a specified command line. The command line can include the selected file path(s). Or a menu item can invoke any custom code you write in C# or VB.NET. * You can turn all menu items on/off with a single property. Set whether each menu item is visible or enabled. * Specify a submenu''s default item, which appears boldface and is executed when the user double-clicks on its parent menu item. * Each menu item can display custom help text in the Windows Explorer status bar when the user moves the mouse over the menu item. * Includes thorough MSDN-style documentation and sample programs that demonstrate the component with no programming required. * Also includes sample source code and templates in C# and VB.NET to help you get started quickly. * Written in 100% managed C# code. Original source code is available for purchase at an additional charge. * Supports .NET v2.0 and v1.1. Development projects for Visual Studio 2005 and 2003 are included.

Mini-Comm is a .NET ...

Mini-Comm

Mini-Comm is a .NET component to share data between different programs, multiple instances of the same program, or different processes on the same PC. You can share text, objects, collections of objects, and streams of data. * At its heart, Mini-Comm communicates in a peer-to-peer fashion: any two nodes can talk. This flexibility allows you to emulate just about any architecture including client-server and one-on-one communications. Mini-Comm also ships with a basic text sender and receiver in case you want to roll your own communications. * You can specify a password on both ends for highly-secure communications. Mini-Comm has 256-bit AES encryption built-in, or you can encrypt the data yourself before sending it. * Use Mini-Comm to ensure that only one instance of your application is running at any given time. If a new instance runs, it will automatically pass its command line arguments to the original instance of your application and then shut down. * Mini-Comm comes with a full Messaging System that helps you to track and communicate with other processes, logs messages, and provides ping and other system functions. * Mini-Comm includes a WinForms control that exposes the Messaging System. You can add this control to your applications to provide a "back door console" for you to monitor and debug your interprocess communications. You can even add your own messages to the system while it is running (see this in action with the sample program). * Each application communicates on its own network. You can communicate across applications, or restrict all communications to just your network and application. Each network can be further sub-divided into channels, both public and private. * Mini-Comm includes thorough MSDN-style documentation and sample programs that demonstrate the component with no programming required. Also includes sample source code in C# and VB.NET to help you get started quickly.
