Active Document Keeper is a document storage and management system for home or office use. The internal storage system allows you to keep various electronic documents in one or several document databases. The document database can be stored in files on a local or network disk, or using client-server database (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.). Multiple network users can work with one document database simultaneously .The ADK compresses documents, that helps you to save a disk space. The backup capabilities would help you if your document database has lost or corrupted. Documents can be added to the document database by several ways: imported from a files on a disks; obtained from a scanner or digital camera; pasted from the clipboard; or created directly from ADK. The integration in the Windows Explorer simplifies document importing in the ADK database. By using the QuickDocuments feature you get the ability to create documents by one mouse click. All documents are organized in folders, this structure looks like files and folders on your hard disk. The ADK enables you to create your own hierarchical trees for more useful representation of documents. But unlike a disk file system you can create references from several folders to one document, what gives you a possibility to create a flexible cross-referenced documents organization structure. ADK offers you an intuitive Explorer-like interface. You can add text notes to individual documents to simplify the searching in document database. A powerful ADK search mechanism helps you to locate any document quickly and easily. The ADK can perform searching in the document contents for Word, Excel and PDF documents. All documents in the database have a convenient preview. You can print any document directly from the ADK without launching external applications.

Active Backup Expert

An easily mastered tool maintains backups of files in the .zip format on hard and removable disks (CD, Zip drives etc.), in a LAN or WAN. A Wizard guides you through the steps of the backup-set creation: supplying the paths and filters for the included and excluded files, specifying the storage folder and compressing ratio, selecting the incremental or differential backup method. Enabling file inclusion on the date-time basis, you will back up the new and changed files only. Having configured the backup-set only once, you are free to create as many backup copies as you wish. Just press the Backup button or click the shortcut on the Desktop. The Command-line support provides you with the ability to get unattended backups by using your favorite Automation utility. Once the backup is created, you can easily restore the files stored within it, view or edit their content. The import/export features are useful to synchronize the folders on different PCs and to span the large backups across the multiple disks. Other features include creating self-extracting .zip files and the support for ActiveX automation. The ample documentation is also available.

Active Task Manager

A compact and powerful tool for automating the execution of tasks. It starts the .exe, .bat and .com files and displays text-sound reminders at the timed moments or manually. ATM helps you to manage your popular tasks and starts them in background. The flexible scheduling capability allows you to set as time interval between the consequent starts of a task, as exact start times within a day, week or month. Intuitive and attractive user interface makes your work with it effective. You can set a process priority for any action. The tray icon menu provides a quick access for starting tasks manually.
