FR - Command Line Text Find and Replace Utility

A Windows Console program designed to simplify find and replace text changes in sets of Microsoft Visual Studio Project files or files organised in directory trees. Primarily designed for programmers - who want to change class, function or identity names in many source files; and web designers - so that they can automate coordinated changes to the many files comprising large websites.FR allows you to:- * search case sensitively or insensitively, * search for whole word or partial matches, * search and replace control characters and non ASCII characters using Escape Sequences, * search and replace in both text and (some) binary files, * include subdirectories in the search, * use @File lists containing multiple find/replace pairs, * parse Microsoft Visual Studio Project Files to find target files, * show changed lines and corresponding line numbers, * specify target files with multiple wild carded pathnames, or * use @File lists of target files (with wild carded pathnames for both the @Files and the individual file paths given in the @Files), and * run a TEST mode check to list the files that will be affected. * function as just a text FIND utility.

HVFULLSC - Video Card and CPI Fonts

The HVFont Full Screen VGA font package allows you to permanently - or temporarily - replace the poor quality OEM VGA "hardware" fonts used in full screen modes under MS-DOS, Windows or Linux. This makes working in any full screen mode easier and more productive. The utilities and binary font images provided can be used to replace the fonts in MS-DOS and Windows'' Codepage Information files and even in the Video Graphics card''s ROM BIOS.

HVTerminal TrueType Terminal Font

The HVTerminal suite is a set of Hi-Visibility TrueType Terminal fonts designed to supplement or replace the standard Windows fonts used in NT terminals and MS-DOS Boxes. The fonts are in a monospaced OEM character set. The package includes Normal, Wide, and Narrow widths and a Light version. The fontface is based on ProCon''s Hi-Visibility HVFont which produces much stronger character glyphs and more legible punctuation characters.

HVLJFont - Laser Printer Fonts

The HVLJFont package provides downloadable PCL "soft" fonts for use with HP compatible Laserjet printers. The fonts can be used with MS-DOS, Window's terminal programs, Unix, Linux, Macintosh, and IBM's AS/400 system. They are particularly valuable if you have a Laser printer that does NOT provide fixed pitch fonts that are scalable, or sufficiently legible. These highly legibility, fixed pitch fonts are based on ProCon's HVFont design. Sizes range from a miniscule 50cpi, 3pts, right up to a large 8.33cpi, 17pts. The sizes from 30cpi to 15cpi are the most useful as few printers produce readable text at these sizes with their native fonts.

ShowFont - Windows Font Lister

ShowFont is a Windows utility designed to list the fonts available on your system, show some of the characteristic properties of each font, and display a text sample - or character table - for the font. ShowFont provides more detailed information on fonts than conventional font display programs - or the Windows' Fonts applet. This detail includes: Style - Weight & Orientation (Regular, Italic, Bold, etc.); Size - Both Points and Pixel Size (Width x Height); Character Set (ANSI, OEM, SYMBOL, etc.); Pitch (Fixed or Proportional); Type (Raster or Scalable); Family (Modern, Swiss, etc.); Face Name (which is often very different from the File name); Display Name (which often contains more information than the Face name); File Name (as recorded in the Windows' Registry); ShowFont also allows you to: Resize and reposition the dialog; Show just Monospaced (Fixed pitch) or Variable pitch fonts; Show just Raster (bitmapped) or Scalable fonts; Show some sample text - or an ASCII character table, and Edit the sample text. The ShowFont dialog can be resized - and repositioned - even on multi-monitor systems. The program automatically saves your settings and preferences and restores them when it is run again.

HVRaster - Programmers Font for Windows

HVRaster is a Windows monospaced raster screen font especially designed for use in Program IDEs and Editors like Visual Studio, Delphi, Codewright and Slickedit. It includes many different point sizes in Standard, Wide and Narrow widths. The fontface is based on ProCon's Hi-Visibility HVFont which produces much stronger character glyphs and more legible punctuation characters. It uses a modified OEM Codepage 437 symbol set. Normally blank characters - like the binary NUL and ASCII 255 - are visible, and the space character can be shown as a grid to assist programmers and screen designers with code layout and design.
