FileSecPatch

If folders and files are on a NTFS disk drive part, it can be determined which users have access rights onto these files and files. With the professional version of Windows XP in the property dialog of the respective folders and files the necessary adjustments can be carried out. With the Home version this security dialog page lacks in normal mode. The use of restricted user accounts is complicated by that enormously. The dialog for the security adjustment for files lies in the file for shell extensions with the name rshx32.dll. From this file the program produces now a patched copy with the name rshx32_p.dll. The entries for rshx32.dll are changed in the Windows registration database and added a key that does belief to the patched copy Windows would work in the protected mode. FileSecPatch license is freeware and it is listed in system tools software.
