CryptIt

This file encrypter is capable of using either a word (string) or a file for the code. When using a file the encryption code can be up to 4GB. (Virtually unbreakable by any computer.) Descriptions can be stored within the encrypted file, as well as the file name of the code. This enables the file to be, for example, EMailed to another person who has the same collection of codes as you, while not sending the actual code. Command line operation is also supported and CryptIt is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency.

Slam

This program provides the ability to perform any shutdown operation via the command line. Slam can easily shutdown, restart, log off, power-down, suspend or hibernate your computer. Slam can also be used to remotely shutdown other computers, and for shutting down windows automatically at a set time using Windows built in Scheduler. Force can be used to closed crashed programs, plus delayed and warned shutdowns are also supported. Slam is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency.

Break

Break is designed to help you not work too long at one time on the computer. It lets you set a timer from 15-60 minutes to remind you to get up and go for a walk, have a coffee, go home, go to bed etc. Auto reset & auto boot are also supported. SmEdit

SmEdit is a Small Text Editor designed for a general text manipulation and viewing. It is especially suitable as a replacement for "Notepad", but it's abilities go much further than that. Unlike Notepad, it is capable of handling large files, can view Rich Text Files, and can be used for advanced tasks such as a simple programming editor. All Sinner Computing Software is written using SmEdit! SmEdit also includes some unique features like an "On-Top" setting, which puts the SmEdit window above all others and keeps it there. This is especially useful for writing notes while reading a document / EMail, or the reverse! (Referring to notes while writing a document / EMail.) SmEdit can also be set to automatically select fonts designed for certain file types and disable WordWrap. Other features include 3 programmable "Run" buttons in the Toolbar, an "Insert Text" function that can remember 5 strings, external modification notification, partial loading, printing, a customizable tool bar, a status bar, line number display, Unicode support, save and loaded file size display, time insert, goto-line, full search and replace, auto file registering (and restoring) for 12 file types (plus 2 customizable types), a unique descriptive icon for each file type, display font selection, customisable AutoSave, Word-Wrap, URL highlighting, multi level undo and redo, clipboard functions, Drag and Drop loading, default window size setting and a side line select bar. jFolder

Want to make your folders and drives stand out for easier identification? Customize their icons then! This program allows Windows 2000 and Windows XP users to customise the appearance of icons for drives (Win2K only) and folders. You can choose the icon and tool tip of any folder, giving the same effect (if desired) of system folders like the recycle bin or "My Documents". Normal icon files can be used, as well as the icons within some Executable files. jFolder is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency.

Ute

Ute is a compact utility with Time Syncing, Window Shutdown control, Wave File playing, Delayed / Controlled Running and Wallpaper Changing capabilities. It is a collection of Sinner Computing utilities (iTimeSync, Slam and QWave.) with two new functions are also added. (Run and Wallpaper.) It is optimised for Command Line Control but the Wallpaper Changer and iTimeSync can also be operated in window mode. (N.B. Ute is a 32 bit Windows program, not a command line program.) The iTimeSync function synchronizes your computer clock with an internet time server. You can set up to five different time servers, which can be automatically checked in turn on a failure to connect, and a positive or negative time offset can be set if you like your clock to be fast or slow. The Window Shutdown function, known as Slam, adds the ability to easily shutdown, restart, log off or power-down the computer. This can be useful for shutting down windows automatically at a set time using the built in Windows Scheduler. Force can be used to closed crashed programs, and delayed / warned shutdowns are also supported. QWave is a compact alternative to much larger audio File player. It allows most audio files to be played virtually instantly as opposed to waiting for a larger program to load, display an window, and then play the sound. Auto file type registering is supported, as well as early sound termination for larger files. The Wallpaper changer function will randomly choose a image from a given directory. It natively supports only BMP files, but it is designed to be used with an external converter / resizer. Finally, the Run function allows a program / file to be run with process priority, delay and cancel options. All of the functions have logging functions and settings that are saved for default use. Many of these settings can be overridden or changed when run in Command Line Mode. Due to being written in Assembly Ute requires under 100kb of hard drive space.
