XorIt
Most file encryptors use methods that rely on the theory of computational security, that is difficulty of key factorisation prevents decryption of the file. But this method may not work forever. It used to be considered that a 56 bit key was unbreakable to brute force attacks, but the government of the USA now requires all Top Secret data to use keys of at least 192 bits. This bar will keep raising as computing power increases. (It is argued by some though that this will never happen due to the laws of physics!) XorIt is designed to use conventional XOR encryption on keys that are the same size as the file to be encrypted. Furthermore, if you use an unpredictable file that is the same size (or larger) than the original file and you use this file only once, this is known as a "one-time pad" and it is completely unbreakable, even to computers 1000 years from now. This is because there is no algorithm at all, just a big key, and thus there is no pattern to follow once you have decrypted any part of the file. Thus attempts to decrypt it could result in any file, and there would be no way to verify that it has decrypted correctly. XorIt is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency. XorIt is a simplified version of our program CryptIt.

There are 19 data fields and they change depending on if the record is a book or a movie. The fields for books include title, author, ISBN, series, comments, price, while fields for movies include format, director, lead, time and location. Viewing / reading data for three people can be stored also. Other features include Search and sorting operations, AutoFill, an Executable Entry, and data can be exported to a CSV formatted file.

Chop
This program is for splitting large files for easier distribution. (Or if you are a spy, you can divide a file up and even encrypt it for security reasons...) Using either a normal window or a wizard interface, files can be split by either the number of files that you want, the maximum file size, or you can use preset common sizes for EMailing, floppies, Zips, CDs, etc... The program can Chop and UnChop files in Wizard and normal interface, and supports file time and attributes preserving, CRC and even encryption. However, if size is an absolute priority and you do not need any of the more advanced features of Chop, you can instead set Chop to create a very small BAT file to rebuild the file. Chop is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficency and minimum size.

Versus
We at Sinner Computing are big fans of fighting games, especially the Soul Calibur series. We feel that to enjoy these games to its fullest you should change your character regularly, but the random feature in Soul Calibur seem to favour certain characters, and we do not like some of the characters anyway. At first we tried various methods to get around this problem (moving over the character select screen like a chess knight was the most interesting idea) but eventually we decided the answer was obvious; write our own random routine.
Versus can be configured for almost any One on One competition, including non computer ones, by simply editing the configuration file. In addition to showing the next selection, there is display of a few of the previous bouts. Versus can be set to prevent repeat selections, and also to prevent mirror matches. It is also possible to prioritise some selections over others.

GigAlarm
GigAlarm is a multipurpose alarm / reminder program, capable of running files and playing multimedia files (including MP3s) to notify you of events. But GigAlarm is capable of many other alarm actions including changing the background wallpaper, syncing the system clock via the internet (using RFC-868 or RFC-2030), shutting down / restarting / logging off Windows, scheduled hibernation resume, wave file playing (random or selected) and program / file running (also random or selected). GigAlarm is a multithreaded programs (i.e. it takes advantage of multi-processor/core and hyper threaded machines) and can schedule thousands of different events. Alarms can be programmed to auto-repeat on set days, by a time offset (such as every 5 hours or even a random time) or a set time after boot.
Various views are supported, including next alarms in order, deleted alarms, all alarms, a large view mode for across the room viewing and a calendar preview mode. The preview mode even shows the Window-Up Time, World Times and your daily bio-rhythm!
GigAlarm has a multitude of other options and capabilities, including alarm search and sort, Instant Alarms, alarm templates, snooze control, variable alarm cut off, repeating sounds, boot up alarms, countdown, variable pause, variable alarm warning, missed alarm notification, database selection and more. In addition, GigAlarm also provides an instant shutdown ability via its icon. GigAlarm installed and using a 100 alarm database requires under 250KB of hard drive space.

Volt
Volt is a power monitoring and controlling utility. The primary function of this program is to provide a visual display of the internal battery state of a Laptop Computer. This can be shown via a compact window with a graph and a text line, or by a simple icon with pop-up status in the system tray. The window can be set to stay on, or when the battery state changes according to the users preference. It also can be placed in various set places, or be movable. The window can also be set to be on-top of other windows. The secondary function of Volt is a Quick Shutdown utility, supporting all forms of shutdown, including remote and hibernation. There is a warn option as well as an option to force a shutdown for closing un-responding programs. In addition Volt supports shutdown on idle, delayed shutdowns, command line options and logging.Volt is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency taking up under 100KB of hard drive space
