Real Blender

Real Blender offers versatility in your Windows Forms applications that go beyond the boundaries of regular color picker components. You can set the limits to how many colors are allowed in a color gradient and where they can go. Full positioning as used by the .Net CLR and the complete ARGB (Alpha Red Green Blue) hexadecimal breakdown can be displayed using the ShowDetails property. Completely customisable. Use the Solid checkbox to set the color to a solid, even color, without losing the number and positions in the Color Blend array. As stated before, full alpha support is offered. We have never seen a similar component offer the alpha channel to users before. This is viewed best when the component is used in conjunction with our Real Label component, which offers true transparency as an integral feature. When users click the "Click To Edit" color block, they get a variety of choices including full, seperate ARGB channels as well as text boxes to get that exact color they want. Oh yes, and like we said, System colors are also supported, at the click of a button. This is a shareware listed under development components, libraries category.

Solo Windows Forms Studio

Weve grouped together all of our .Net Windows Forms components so you have the convenience of getting them all with only one purchase, and make significant savings too. All of these components work so well together and we guarantee they will help you to write better, more user friendly and visually impressive applications. With Real Label you can create fantastic labels, backgrounds, shapes and effects to liven up your applications and expand your websites too. True transparency and alpha channel support with color gradients for both the text and background make this component stand out from all others. Real Blender works perfectly with Real Label to allow your users to just choose colors or customize its color gradients, including alpha channel support and system colors. Edit Mask is a very user friendly masking component to force the input of certain types of data such as dates, times, currency and numbers. All with in built validation and error color coding. At some stage practically all developers need to resize images, convert from one format to another or generate thumbnails. ThumbnailCreator does all this easily and can even convert directly to file or provide you with an Image object for you to further use. This development tools software is listed under development components, libraries.

If you have chosen t...

Edit Mask

If you have chosen to mask for Date, you specify the mask to use (let's say "MM/dd/yy") and the control will take care of the rest and only allow entries for that exact mask, even changing text color to red (by default, but you can change that) if it is not a correct input for that mask, thus notifying the user that it's not right. A truly unique feature is the Valid From and Valid To range that can be set for each data type. This means that values which are valid, but out of the specified range, are shown in red and the status is set to invalid and either above or below the range so you know exactly what the user has done from code. Another great feature is when the component does not have focus you can specify a different mask to use, thus displaying a more readable value when the data is not being edited. It makes reports and data entry forms that much more user friendly and allows you more options when you're busy with development. It's really easy to use as a currency component: initially it checks the environments culture to choose the currency symbol to use but this can be changed to any string value. For instance, you may not be happy with just a pound sign so you can add a GBP from code. The up/down buttons can be customised too, from border types to background and border colors. Resolution (the amount to decrement/increment by) can be adjusted at run-time as well as in the IDE. Or if you don't want to see the buttons, just hide them. This is a great way to edit or display times as well, because users can sometimes be a little trying, and validation from code after the user has entered the data and clicked on the Save button is always tiresome, we know... Now the user can only enter valid values with a nice neat error flag to tell you the data is incorrect! Edit Mask is a shareware categorized under development components, libraries tools.

Display Text at an A...

Real Label

Display Text at an Angle: Any angle between 0 and 360 degrees. You are no longer confined to the horizontal! Create Groovy Backgrounds: You have a choice of using a background image (tiled or not), a solid color, transparent (true transparency, not like other .Net controls), or linear gradient shading with as many colors as you like, including alpha channel transparency on individual colors. Shading for Text: That's right; just like you create shading for the background, you can also do the same for your text. Naturally including full alpha channel transparency support for individual colors. The Border: As well as the standard borders, you can choose to have a Rounded border, Inset 3D and Outset 3D. For the Rounded border type, you can adjust the Dash Style (dotted, dashed, solid etc), color, width and even corner size including which corners are rounded and which are square. Of course, if you don't want a border, you can choose None. Text Alignment: Typical of the standard Visual Studio Label control, you choose any alignment for your text you desire. No matter what angle you use for your text. Icon Image: You can even display an image on your Real Label control which is rendered to the left of the text to better demonstrate to your users what your label is trying to say. ASP.Net As Well? You've got a great looking font and you want to use it on your website. But of course you can't risk your users not having that font installed on their system. Or what if you want to allow users to customise their experience with nice shading or a font of their choice? Well, the answer is simple: Real Label can generate this kind of thing on the fly and it will output an Image object which you can then save or stream to your users browser, in any format and quality you want. Really useful. Render Quality: Adjusting the text quality and/or general render quality can improve performance and make for stunning graphics. Your choice. Real Label is a shareware categorized under development components, libraries tools.

It's never been easi...

ThumbnailCreator

It's never been easier to create thumbnails from, or just resize, your images thanks to this great component. We can certainly identify with those developers who have had to offer thumbnail displays of images on a website and have had to create libraries of tiny images - and then keep them up to date. ThumbnailCreator will resize and re-render your image depending on your settings and will even save them to disk for you. Of course it will also provide the Image object of the resized image. Great for converting images from one format to another. As a suggestion, and this will depend on your needs, when you need a thumbnail, it would be expensive on server resources to generate the thumbnail every time. So why not generate it the first time only and save it to a special Thumbnail directory? Then if it doesn't exist in that directory, generate it or just use the one you made before. No more need to keep track of your thumbnails as the code will do that for you using a simple file existence check and ThumbnailCreator. It can be used from Windows Forms as it has a user interface, and from ASP.Net applications. Of course the size to generate any image to is fully customisable. This is a shareware listed under development components, libraries category.
