SES Type Freeware
SES Type is a Freeware touch typing tuition course designed for modern typing requirements. It consists of over 1200 short exercises, to gradually introduce the keys. The program is based around Accuracy, rather than speed or rhythm. Comitted and regular use of SES Type will increase both your accuracy and your speed, allowing you to type important documents as well as casual emails quickly and efficiently. As you type, various statistical functions help you monitor your progress, showing your performance over previous exercises, as well as a key-by-key breakdown of your performance. Reducing the number of errors you make, and learning to type without looking at the keyboard, makes using a computer more relaxing as well as more efficient - touch typing is not just for secretaries!

SES Type Extra
SES Type Extra is a typing speed and accuracy analysis program. It is ideal both for those beginning touch-typing who merely know their way around the keyboard, and now need to improve speed and accuracy, and for more experienced typists who want to know exactly how fast they can type and where most of their problems are. The program includes twenty varied texts, from Aesop and Chaucer through to casual emails, C programs and webpages, and more exercises are on their way. Pick a text and type as much of it as you like. When you are done, a summary of your typing accuracy and speed is shown. If you want more detail, save the detailed report form that includes details of which keys and words you type incorrectly or slowly. By saving these reports each time you use the program, you can build up a log of how you are improving To iron out any problems, generate a short course of exercises for you to practice in SES Type Freeware, which focuses on the problems detected, allowing you to practice problem letters, both individually and in combination, and whole words. SES Type Extra is shareware. The downloaded version has all reporting functions disabled, but still allows the user to type any of the included texts. On registering the typing summary, report and course functions are enabled.
