@TheOffice provides Remote Access by letting you virtually plug into your Office Network from anwhere in the world. It uses industry-standard and provenly secure IPSec technology to establish connections from Client PCs on the road to a Gateway PC on your office LAN. Upon connection, you are assigned a virtual IP address that's on your Office Network. You are then 'plugged in' and can transparently access all your office resources as if you were '@TheOffice'.
Seamless integration with your Windows Domain greatly simplifies user management. This means your existing Domain Users will have access the instant you've completed the Gateway's configuration!
@TheOffice works over normal dialup modems, ISDN, WiFi, ADSL, Satellite, GPRS, etc. Any PC or Notebook that can access the Internet is a potential @TheOffice client.
At the core of @TheOffice lies a selection uncompromising security technologies such as Certificate-based Authentication, SSL/IPSec over UDP tunneling, 3DES/AES encryption, encrypted Private Key storage and automatic dynamic firewalling. Anybody who needs Remote Office Connectivity to access Office Resources such as file servers, printers, internal web pages and databases from remote locations, for example: Teleworkers Telecommuters Businessmen traveling overseas Mobile Workforce Road Warriors Project Collaborators Contract Workers What makes @TheOffice different? @TheOffice aims to make Remote Office Connectivity affordable for the Small- to Medium Business market. Some points to consider: Many solutions requires expensive hardware that only makes sense for large enterprises. @TheOffice requires no hardware other than standard PC's. Some solutions works with a dialup connection - this can become very expensive, especially when using from overseas. @TheOffice uses any Internet Connection.
