MySpeed SVR Express enables you to quickly and easily provide bandwidth testing services on your website, so your visitors can test their connection speeds to your server. Download and upload speeds are accurately measured by timing actual data transfers between your web server and visitors. The consistency of download data transfer speeds, or quality of service, is also reported. The quality of service is a key performance factor for bandwidth-intensive applications such as VoIP or video. Speed test results can easily be emailed for further analysis. Implementation is simple -- just add the MySpeed files to your existing web server. A default web page is included, or add the MySpeed SVR Xpress applet to your own web page.

VisualLookout

VisualLookout monitors and records the activity as visitors enter your system through open ports that firewalls normally do not protect, so you can identify and track unwelcome visitors. The geographical location of the visitor is identified on a World map to help identify security threats. Network interface data provides your ''Internet speed'' and traffic. Both high level and detailed views report traffic information in real-time or on a historical basis. A ''connections'' window for any server provides a real-time view of all the active network connections showing who is connected, their country of origin, what service is being used, whether the connection is inbound or outbound, how many connections are active and how long they have been connected. The AutoContact feature keeps an historical log of visitors'' IP addresses and their domain names. The AutoSentry feature provides information about the number of connections that are current and historical for that IP or domain, the time spent at the site and the services used. The user can very quickly examine the past history of an IP to see the activity detail. This very quickly identifies whether ports are being scanned to find an open back door, or whether a particular IP address is continually on the server. VisualLookout can monitor multiple systems in parallel providing a valuable single view over all critical systems.

VisualRoute 2008 Lite Edition

VisualRoute Lite Edition analyzes your Internet connection and identifies where problems occur, determining if slow performance is due to your ISP or a problem on the Internet. The graphical report shows the network route from your computer to your destination, identifies the network devices along the route and shows where any data loss or slow response occurs. A summary analysis indicates the overall performance of your connection and reports any bottlenecks or problem areas.

VisualRoute combines the tools Traceroute, Ping, and Whois into an easy-to-use graphical interface that analyzes Internet connections to quickly locate where an outage or slowdown occurs. In addition, VisualRoute identifies the geographical location of IP addresses and Web servers on a global map--key information for security purposes to help identify network intruders and Internet abusers. VisualRoute also features an email tracking for troubleshooting email problems, a ping grapher for analyzing connectivity over time, and domain and network Whois information for quick problem or abuse reporting. Integration with Internet Explorer provides one-click traces to any Web site. The ping capabilities provide a good idea of whether or not the site is live, while traceroute will help determine where along the route the problem lies. VisualRoute's traceroute provides three types of data: an overall analysis, a data table, and a geographical view of the routing. The analysis is a brief description of the number of hops, where problems occurred, and the type of Web server software running at the site you are trying to reach. The data table lists information for each hop, including the IP address, node name, geographical location and the major Internet backbone where each server resides. The World map gives a graphical representation of the actual path of an Internet connection. Users can zoom in/out and move the map around to position it as desired. A mouse click on a server or network name opens a pop-up Whois window, providing instant contact information for problem reporting.
