HTTP Recorder
HTTP Recorder is a tool that allows you to capture and inspect HTTP traffic. For each session (request and corresponding response), it will display the headers, and 4 views of the body: Text, Hex, XML, and Image. It can also be used as a responder to simulate an unavailable system during testing. In "Play" mode, if it receives a request that matches a request it has seen before, it will reply with the recorded request''s response. When determining a match, it will consider "Headers and Body", "Headers Only", or "Verb and URI". By default, it runs as a proxy. Simply configure your client to use a proxy server. Alternatively, it can run as a gateway. A gateway is an intermediary between a client and server. Provide the destination endpoint (Host and Port) to HTTP Recorder and change the client''s reference to the destination endpoint with HTTP Recorder''s endpoint. For example, if HTTP Recorder''s "Local Port" is "8080", the destination is "http://www.yahoo.com", and the browser will be launched on the same computer, then provide "www.yahoo.com" as the destination host, "80" for the destination port, and change the client to use "http://localhost:8080" instead of "http://www.yahoo.com". Without a license, it only allows 5 sessions to be saved to a file or read from a file, and it doesn''t allow the thread parameters to be changed. When you register HTTP Recorder, you will be sent a license, to be provided to HTTP Recorder, that will enable all sessions to be saved to a file or read from a file, and allow the thread parameters to be changed.

TCP Viewer
TCP Viewer captures and displays all data that is transferred between client processes and a server process communicating through TCP/IP. The processes can be running on the same machine or different machines located anywhere on a network or the Internet. TCP Viewer can run on a machine different than the machine(s) that the processes are running on. An example of a client and server is a web browser and web server. TCP Viewer can be used by a developer to debug protocol problems or by anyone who is curious about what data is passed between processes.

TCP Spy
When TCP Spy's Start button is pressed, it will capture and display all socket calls of the next application that starts and makes a socket call. It will also capture and display the data that is sent and received on the application's sockets. The application can be of any type.
TCP Spy displays its output in a scrollable text box. This data may additionally be sent to a file as text or HTML. By default, only 32KB of data is kept in the scrollable text box. Higher data limits may be selected, including unlimited.
Based upon each socket's first transferred message, TCP Spy will determine if the protocol being communicated over the socket is text based. If so, TCP Spy will test each following message for text. If a message contains only text, TCP Spy will display it as such. Else, TCP Spy will show the message in hexadecimal and ASCII. If the protocol is HTTP, the HTTP headers will be displayed as text.
The unregistered version does not provide the option of sending data to a file, and only keeps 32KB of data in the scrollable text box. When you register TCP Spy, you will be sent a code that enables the additional features.

Roll Call
Roll Call is an employee in and out board and a secure instant messaging system. The main fallacy of in and out boards is people forget to change their status. With Roll Call, you only need to remember to change it when you leave your desk, not when you return. When you click your mouse or type on your keyboard for the first time after being away from your desk, Roll Call will automatically change your status to "desk". If you happen to leave your desk and forget to change your status, Roll Call will change it to "idle" after a given amount of time. When you remember to change your status, Roll Call makes it easy by allowing you to type a hotkey or select a status from a popup menu that is presented when Roll Call's tray icon is right clicked. For instance, you can define a hotkey to change your status to "lunch", another to "home", etc. No matter what the forefront application is, you can enter a key sequence to change your status. Roll Call's tray icon also graphically represents what your status is. When you change your status, Roll Call saves you time by defaulting to a reasonable return time. If "lunch" or "break", the current time plus the typical amount of time you take for lunch or a break respectively. If "home", the next business day at your typical arrival time. The calculation of the next business day considers company holidays that you provide and weekends. Roll Call provides additional information. Associated with each employee record is a notes section, group list, email address and a phone list. Groups are useful because the employee list can be filtered to only show those associated with a particular group.
