PLANETS is intended for the casual skywatcher who is interested in locating the five planets which are visible to the naked eye. PLANETS displays the current location in the sky of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, the Sun and the Moon and gives the time of day that these objects will rise and set. PLANETS allows the user to browse through time and date to determine the best opportunities to view the objects. Planets is a shareware developed by William Burns and listed in education science software.
