This is a demonstration of deinterlacing using YUV Decomb technology. An original algorithm ensures high quality of interpolated progressive video due to non-trivial use of motion data and accurate pixel-level filtration, making resulting videos free of many common deinterlacing artifacts. The benefit is especially clear on low-angle edges (no prominent "waves") and in static areas (no jitter typical for simple solutions). For each field of the input video one frame of the resulting progressive video is constructed. The demo can process AVI files of 720x576 resolution or below, enabling processing of typical SIF and SD video content.

YUVsoft Watermarking Demo

This is a demo of YUVsoft Watermarking technology (YUV Watermarking) capabilities. The program can watermark typical standard definition videos with a user defined text, making it possible to extract a mark after compression or other typical video processing. Also it can be used for hidden information transmission. In most situations a watermark can not be detected and/or changed by standard steganography methods.

YUVsoft Frame Rate Conversion Demo

This is a demonstration of frame rate increase using YUV FRC technology. An original algorithm ensures competitive high quality of interpolated video owning to sophisticated processing of motion data. The conversion factor is an arbitrary integer number defined by a user. Depending on it, the algorithm synthesizes one or several intermediate frames between each two frames of an original sequence. Hiqh-quality and high-speed modes are supported. The former is recommended by default, the latter may be appropriate for fast processing of mainly static videos, like video conference streams. The demo can process AVI files of 720x576 resolution or below, enabling processing of typical SIF and SD video content.

YUVsoft Super Resolution Demo

High quality video upscaling using a unique fast super resolution technology. Information from several video frames is used to greatly enhance quality of a high resolution image in comparison to common image resizing techniques. In constrast to typical super resolution methods, this algorithm works in real time for small resolutions and is reasonably complex for off-line conversion of standard definition to high definition content (SD to HD conversion). In order to match different use cases, several presets to choose between quality and speed are available. The best results are obtained when upscaling uncompressed video 2 times. However, the distinct advantage can be noted when processing a moderately compressed video or resizing video using a fractional upscaling factor. The demo can process AVI files of 704x576 resolution or below, thus making it possible to evaluate quality of CIF to SD conversion and SD to HD content conversion using YUV Super Resolution technology.
