CAMELOT Messaging Security
CAMELOT is a server side based spam filtering solution that behaves very much like a firewall that sits in front of the SMTP Mail Server. Messages are received through the CAMELOT gateway and are forwarded to a standard mail server after they are successfully processed. The SMTP handler verifies all the parameters of the SMTP transaction and denies all further processing as soon as an invalid incident occurs. This prevents unauthorized access before the message is delivered to the mail server.
All messages are then subjected to an extensive content examination. The CAMELOT Content Processor allows for several methods of analysis and supports configurable properties and the order of execution can also be individually adjustable. Different Policy profiles for each network segment and/or domain are used to perform detailed content processing for all types of requirements.
The content examination process works with the combination of multiple analysis technologies. Unwanted words and phrases, as well as dangerous HTML references, can be detected automatically by special text pattern analysis.
Bayesian classification methods are used to rate incoming messages and process them according special rules. The help of artificial intelligence in self learning filter systems can reduce the portion of unwanted messages to a minimum. Also pornographic contents in images can be detected in this way.
Messages can be scanned by third party anti virus products through special interfaces. Infected attachments can be removed from the infected message and forwarded to special quarantine zone. CAMELOT Messaging Security license is shareware and it is listed in security and encryption software.

iNetQuery is a powerful Internet utility for network monitoring for MS Windows platforms. Special query features, like DNS, Whois or NetStat, can be used to determine detailed information about domains, hostnames or network providers. Utiltities like Ping or Traceroute are suitable to find out if a remote host is reachable or to check your network performance. iNetQuery captures all active network connections, as well as the running tasks on the local system. Unwanted data transactions and activities of unknown applications, e.g. trojans, can be detected and denied in this way. Additional utilities can query special DNS records like SPF (Sender Policy Framework) or Open-Relay databases to find blacklisteted hostnames. A status panel shows detailed information about installed network interfaces. Adapter properties and activities, as well as statitistics about tranferred bytes and packets, are shown there. A special report engine can create detailed reports about domains or hostnames. Information about domain owners, network providers and responsible persons will be determined automatically and displayed in a detailed summary. iNetQuery is a freeware categorized under network, internet network monitoring tools.
