MSIDIFF

MSIDIFF is freeware to compare or disassemble Windows Installer databases (a "MSI to TEXT" utility). While it is a command line based tool, the installer creates shell extensions so that the decompile operations can be invoked by right clicking on a file in Explorer. The output can be processed by my MAKEMSI tool to automate the change in future.

This freeware software allows you to list all the opened windows (applications) on your Windows machine and to kill some of them by specifing their title. It works even with hidden and system windows (for example trayed applications) and you can specify only PART of the window caption. You can also export a list of all the opened windows into a text file, so that an external app. can know in advance if a program is running before killing it.

Tri Text Tools is three utilities for viewing or new-line format of any text files on PC's that use MS-DOS. NLX or New Line Xlate translates text files such as source code files from UNIX or Apple MAC's to PC-DOS so they can be easily read on screen or used by a editor or word processor.
